PON IR – Call for Expression of Interest for Enterprises – Project “BEST – Bridging ELIXIR-IT Services to industrial sTakeholders”
Italy's CNR seeks companies for the BEST project, bridging ELIXIR-IT research with industry through Open Science collaboration. Deadline: June 20, 2025.
The National Research Council of Italy (CNR), as the proposing institution, has launched an Expression of Interest (EoI) addressed to companies interested in collaborating on the project “BEST – Bridging ELIXIR-IT Services to industrial sTakeholders (previous SUNRISE)”. This initiative was submitted in response to Public Notice No. 310/2025 issued by the Italian Ministry of University and Research (MUR), aimed at strengthening public Research Infrastructures in the areas of Health, Food, and Quality of Life (SNSI).
The BEST project seeks to enhance collaboration between the research community and the industrial sector by facilitating access to the services and expertise of the ELIXIR-IT infrastructure. It promotes the development of:
- Joint research and innovation projects
- Technology transfer activities
- Programs for sharing know-how and technologies
- Training initiatives and the development of human capital
Collaboration will follow the principles of Open Science and Open Innovation, offering free access to facilities.
Participation is open to all companies legally registered in the Italian Business Register, operating in the Health, Food, and Quality of Life sectors, and meeting the eligibility requirements outlined in the call.
Interested companies must submit their documentation by June 20, 2025, at 12:00 PM (CET).
