Anna Marabotti is Deputy of the Training Platform of ELIXIR-IT. She obtained a PhD in Biochemical Sciences (2001) from the University of Turin, and she is Associate Professor at the Dept. Chemistry and Biology “A. Zambelli” of the University of Salerno. Her research interests concern studies of structure-dynamics-function relationships of proteins of prevalent interest in the biomedical field (with a special focus on proteins involved in rare diseases), and characterization of their interactions with ligands, using structural bioinformatics approaches.

Scientific Advisory Board

The Scientific Advisory Board (SAB) is an external body composed of international experts that periodically reviews the activities and the services of the Node. Ensuring their long-term fit to the needs of the Italian research community and of the ELIXIR level.

At the same time it acts as a consultative body in order to provide recommendations on technical, scientific and strategic matters.
