Predicting the impact of mutations on protein stability from sequence and structure.
The ELIXIR Italy Interoperability Platform supports the life sciences community in making biological data and tools Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable (FAIR). It promotes the adoption of shared standards for metadata, file formats, ontologies, and identifiers, enabling seamless data integration and analysis across systems and domains. Through strong alignment with the ELIXIR Europe Interoperability Platform, it contributes to international initiatives that define and implement best practices for FAIR data management in research and innovation.
The platform works in close coordination with the ELIXIR Europe Interoperability Platform, contributing to European projects, Commissioned Services, and global standards development. It is actively involved in shaping interoperability strategies across ELIXIR, and aligns with broader initiatives such as the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC). This collaboration ensures that Italian contributions are fully embedded within the European and international data ecosystem.
These services enhance R&D productivity, ensure data readiness, and improve information accessibility in complex research settings.
